Don Murphy has made a post on
his message board where he slips some info regarding when filming for TF3 will end. In the post regarding his message board and personal life he says there are six weeks left of filming for Transformers 3.
Coincidentally, or perhaps not, this coincides with recent filming dates for the film.
According to Politico, The Washington filming begins on October 4th, and likewise filming at the Kennedy Space Center is to occur later this month, or so says
News 13.

New Jersey Collectors Convention, an all new convention based in New Jersey. Focusing on collectors, for Toys, Action Figures, Comic Books, Video Games, Memorabilia, and more.
It has been announced that GM Chevy Camaro Bumblebee will make an appearance at the November 14th show. Also in attendance will be Bumblebee in robot character form. Kids and adults can enjoy free photo opportunities with these character favorites honoring the Transformers live action movie.

Apocalypse Comics let us know about some exciting things they have going on at New York Comic Con.
We will be bring two exclusive variants to this years New York Comic Con. The first is for Transformers #12, and is a homage to the classic Jack Kirby cover of X-Men #1. The second is for GI Joe #23 and is a homage to the unforgetable Apocalypse Now! movie poster. The TF cover features Sideswipe, Prowl, Swoop, First Aid, Brainstorm, Bombshell and Scrapper and the GI Joe cover features Baron Bludd and Duke. The reason we have chosen these specific characters to grace the covers is because they were all voiced by legendary voice actor Michael Bell who will be joining us at the convention, signing comics, figures, DVDs etc...
Also joining us at the show will be the artists of both covers, penciler Casey Coller (who also pencilled TF Spotlight Drift, Spotlight Blurr and the Ironhide mini series as well as numerous All Hail Megatron covers) and colorist John-Paul Bove. Casey will be sketching all weekend and John-Paul will be able to color sketches all weekend too as well as both siging comics.
So with three top guests and two awesome Convention Exclusive Covers, make sure you visit the Apocalypse Comics booth (booth #2281) for your collectable must haves!!!

It is unfortunate that we must report an extra has been seriously injured during the filming of Transformers 3. The woman was setting in her vehicle when a object from a stunt went flying towards her, giving her a serious head injury. The woman was not intended in the part of any stunts however.

Higekuma's toy blog has posted images from Japanese toy retail company Chara Hobby's 2010 show including Wingblade Optimus Prime, Jetpack Bumblebee, Ironhide (Bulkhead Leader Class), Armorhide (Ironhide), Lucky Draw Bumblebee and a full-size statue of Optimus Prime!

At Chara Hobby 2010, Takara Tomy has revealed that the next Transformers Masterpiece Movie toy will be Bumblebee.
From the image, it is believe this figure is
Battle Ops Bumblebee.

The filming crew of "TF3" has now been spotted in Detroit AKA Motor City. Detroit is coincidentally a primary location in
Transformers Animated.
The filming took place at an abandon auto plant, where as Jalopnik points out various forms of wreckage lie about. To view said images at Jalopnik,

The producer of the third Transformers film, or "TF3" for short, has spoken his feelings on the recent filming taking place in Chicago.
When talking to the Chicago Breaking News Center, Bonaventura said the following:
It's funny, we keep extending it here because we're having such a good time, to tell you the truth,
We were supposed to leave a few days ago, actually, and we kept extending it. Right now, around Sept. 1, but if we have any say in it, we'll keep staying here.
The article follows with another quote from him. From the Chicago Breaking News:
"Last night, I tried to think to myself 'How many cities have I shot in in the last seven or eight years,' and I got up to about 118," Di Bonaventura said. "The reason I thought about it was because all of us have felt this was the best city we've ever shot in."

In the Kohinta region of Japan, on the 31st of October a special event will be taking place: Only Starscream. The event will include doujinshi (fan comics) and fan art for sale. You can even come in cosplay. The one rule is:
Starscream Only!
All the artwork, comics and cosplay can only be based the various Starscreams and their close friends (Skyfire, Alexis etc.).

Way back in
May we reported that Florida Space Coast would be a filming site for Transformers 3. Now the Space Center's
own website has updated with new information.
Space Coast wrote: Transformers 3
Transformers 3 will be filming on the Space Coast in late September. A production office will be set up in early Sept and an email addresswill be given so you can send in your resumes. They are seeking the folloiwng positions:
catering
craft service
medics
PAs
electricians
grips
set dressing
Casting for extras will also take place. We are waiting for the Casting Director to give us the info needed for you. Please keep watch on this website for all updates. (updated 8-23-10)
